If you were to leave a car outside for a week which is a very hot week (like 100 degrees which is about 33 Celsius) would this environment be considered an optimal "mold growing environment"?

  1. depends on the humidity and what you have in the car

if you have a wet beach towel in your car on a hot day, then yes, it's likely to grow a bit of mold.

  2. if it is humid, and the windows are closed, i wouldnt suggest trying though

  3. I would assume, yes.

  4. If it is humid in the air, or if you have the windows all up and there is moisure inside your car, like a wet mat, etc. than yeah.

  5. Yes, if there is moisture and a bacterial source for the mold to grow on.

  6. It depends on the levels of humidity/moisture in the air.

Mold grows rapidly in dark, moist areas.

  7. Depends on the humidity - mold tends to grow in humid, rather than hot, conditions. And probably a little cooler than 100F - remember, it gets hotter than that inside the car.

  8. only if there were extreme levels of moisture present.

  9. Only if it contained enough moisture and the car was never opened or moved.

There would have to be a considerable amount of moisture in the car to create mold in an item of that size.
