  1. yes

funny question to alleviate all the tension found here in answers. A good, non partisan question and it gave me a good chuckle. Thanks for asking and i'll have a pepperoni slice and a Bud Light--(i'm watching my weight).

  2. No.

Lazy wins over greedy every time.

  3. Unfortunately... yes.

  4. h**l Yeah!!

  5. h**l yeah!!!!

  6. Theres a chance

  7. LOL

Yeah, probably would attract more voters. The crooked Dem's in Mississippi and Lousy-anna employed that tactic in the 1920's or so to draw more politically ignorant voters. And you can see what that has brought us. ♥ ∞

  8. Do you remember when Domino's gave pizza slices to all voters?  Probably like 20 years ago?  The government made them stop because they felt it was buying votes.

  9. You'll definitely get the Homeless vote! What an idea.

    Obama/Biden 2008!

    Ebony & Ivory Presidency!

  10. It would be tempting! You know that restaurants and bars close to polling places can't serve alcohol while the polls are open?? Even if you're wearing your "I voted" sticker!

  11. Indeed.

  12. No doubt.

  13. Works for United Way events.

  14. Probably, but you might have a little bit of underage people lying about their age just to get at the pizza and beer :)

    Cheers*

  15. Maybe there'd be more votes from fat alcoholics...

  16. This question is a good example of bad ideas being better than no ideas. We DO need to change something to increase people's civic participation, including getting more people to vote. A good start would be to close all but essential workplaces (police, hospitals) on voting day.

In some countries there is a sort of national night off twice a month when non essential businesses like stores and offices close so that everyone has the night off to attend town meetings. They don't force people to attend, but they protect people from being required to work on town meeting nights. I think Americans also should be free to attend town meetings twice a month.

  17. Yes the dems would be there in droves.Throw in some drugs There would be masses lining up.

  18. d**n straight!!

  19. I'd be first in line to vote! Gotta get the best piece!

  20. No.Who would  pay for it . Not all voters like pizza or beer. Sounds like a ploy to get young voters since that is what many of them consume.

  21. that would be a great idea to be honest lol. who wouldn't show up for free beer and pizza? however everyone will gain so much weight and the next election cycle no one would come out because they all will be fat and lazy.
