Would my Top Contributor badge be considered "tainted"?

The majority of my points have come from answering all the non-hockey questions that have been filtering in here over the last few weeks. So does that mean I haven't really earned my badge?

I'd like to return the badge to Yahoo in the form of an e***a.

I don't mind tainted or not, you can keep it.........all that little orange badge is is a target for the trolls. When I had one a while back I got 5-10 violations a day.....without it I only get about 1-2. =P

You deserve it Damian. I enjoy a lot of your questions. We all have been answering some of the silly stuff that get put here lately. But it is not just a badge , but a target as others have said. Congrats.Enjoy

I had one once.  All it did was draw a huge target on my back.  Every troll in the area started reporting me.  This way is better.  I'll take my top ten spot over the badge any day.

Most of us haven't "earned" our badges.Since I've been on this site(9 months)it always amazed me who would have badges and who wouldn't.

meh, orange badge.. i prefer the top 10!

although ya know me, been on here longer than most. well over a year now.. yet i can not manage to crack that ever so elusive top 10. mostly because i'm too busy doing other things.. like.. like.. ya know.. things..

nobody here has "earned" their TC Badge.. unless of course.. they did.. in which i would be wrong. but MOST people haven't earned it!

i was so excited when i got my first TC badge, DC and Puckdat might remember lolol. but it all dies away soon. then you start getting every single possible violation!! You get violations for complaining about getting violations!  hahahhahaha your in for it now.

either that or i'm over exhausted and possibly need to get ready for school in 8 days.. 7 days now i guess.. d**n school.. who wants to wake up at 6 AM to LEARN?!

Eh top contributor badges aren't really worth that much (not to belittle your accomplishment) it's more the top ten in my opinion, but since Yahoo hasn't updated that in months i don't know what to go by any more.
