I am Canadian, and last year I was ALMOST not allowed entry into the States. I had alot of questions to answer before they were satisfied I was NOT going to remain indefinitely. If I should purchase another ticket to fly south, and was denied entry to the States for some reason, would my flight ticket be refunded?

  1. Probably not. Especially if you have a non-refundable ticket. I would check with the airline.

  2. Ask the airline.

  3. Almost certainly not.  Airlines don't take responsibility for immigration problems - if you're not sure you'll be allowed in on the normal visa waiver rules, you should get a visa in advance of booking a ticket.
