Would my hair fall out if i leave it in a damp bun?

Question

Will it cause my hair to fall out?Isn't it the same as doing braids?Would fall out with both damp hair in bun and braids?

I'm pretty sure your hair is not going to fall out, I sleep in a damp bun or in damp braids all the time and my hair has ceased to fall out.

no, I leave my hair in a wet bun all the time when I get out of the shower. it just makes your hair wavy when you take it down.

I don't understand if you mean strands would fall out of the collection o hair or if the roots of the hair would fall out.

And water usually puts hair in place (for me).

For some people, I suppose their hair my "puff" or frizz,

but water puts My hair in place.

Hair doesn't "fall out" for me.

Its not good to tie up your hair when its wet or damp, But will it fall out? No it wont.

Its just not good for the hair you should let it dry.

I don't think it would fall out but after a day or so it would start to smell bad because it isn't dry all the way.  Take the time to just dry it.  It will look better.

I live in a climate that is a semi-desert, so I leave my hair damp and fix it into a bun nearly every day.  I've been doing it for over 10 years since I moved here.  My hair stylist says I have the thickest mane of hair she has ever worked on, so I don't think leaving it wet or damp in the bun had made it fall out or damaged it whatsoever.
