Would my phone work in mexico?

im gonna be in can cun for spring break, would my phone work over there? i live in cali and im with at&t. can i text over there? whatabout talk? would it cost any extra?

Interantional calls are probably $5 per minute, but yes it works there.

When we traveled to Cancun, we used our phone as it is a gsm phone that works internationally. Since our plan is from the US and we have no roaming or long distance, it did not cost anymore than if we are in States.  If your phone is set to work on international network, yes it will work.  Yes you can text and talk.  Check with your provider on the cost. Also, AT & T offers a plan for Mexico so the charge is minimal and allows phone to work.

I just got back from Cancun.  I have AT&T as well. I still recieved calls and texts but I never answered or responded because I figured it would be a fortune.  I have a blackberry and I just used my email and internet to communicate with my family.  That didn't cost me anything except my usual internet package plan.
