Basically my record is pretty mundane, i've never really done anything bad but i sure as h**l had fun as a kid. Just musing if this would be something i could pursue.

Before 18:

Dozens of skateboarding violations (skateboarding is illegal where i live)

2 speeding tickets.

After 18:

When i was 18, me and 2 friends found cartons of cigs and beer stashed in some bushes, we took them and a cop caught us. We weren't charged with being in possession of anything but i got popped for misdemeanor possession of stolen goods as it turned out they were stolen from a nearby 7-11.

Then one speeding ticket when i was 19

I'm 26 now and haven't been in trouble since.

  1. The possession of stolen property could be an issue. Especially at 18 (adult). "I found them in the bushes" is a pretty common story. Be honest and don't try to hide anything. The rest is pretty much of a non-issue.

  2. Traffic and city ordinience violations will not count against you however the posseion of stolen property probably will. Just ask they can probably tell you.

  3. As long as you disclose it all, you'll probably be OK.
