Would my shirt shrink if i dry it over the stove when it would shrink in the dryer?

i have a pima cotton shirt and if i put it in the dryer it will shrink but can i dry it over the stove wit out it shirkin

  1. No. But don't leave anything drying over the heat too long...

    it will set in wrinkles


  2. just hang it on a hanger to dry because i never heard of hanging clothes on a stove to dry

  4. lol. Put it on a clothesline and let it air dry.

  5. To keep it from shrinking, just hang it up somewhere for a few hours to overnight and let it line dry.  Don't try to dry it over the stove.

  6. Get one of those folding drying racks and dry it that way.  You may be able to tumble dry it on GENTLE for a FEW minutes to make it soft, and then air dry the rest of the time.

  7. i dont know if it would shrink, but it might burn down your house!

    Just hang dry it and then use a wrinkle releaser.
