  1. Most countries are concerned that immigrants do not end up becoming a public charge. Be prepared to show how you will support your son, not only while he is a child, but once he is adult. I know it's unfair but the unique contributions he could make to society may be passed over in favour of his future money making ability.

You don't say what country you are planning to move to. One word of warning, here in the USA I've known of people with learning disabilities being deported to their country of origin when their parents were no longer able to care for them. This has been done even when the person has no links with his country of birth and no known family there.

  2. why not good luck when you do go

  3. Of course he will as long as he's with you, could you imagine they court case's if you couldn't.

I hope you are planning on going somewhere nice.

  4. yes, but think of the support services he is receiving now....would he continue to receive these services in a new country?  that is something you would need to look into.  I have heard (don't know if it is true or not) that some countries do not offer services for children with special needs if they have immigrated to their country, it is reserved for those who are citizens of the country...so that is definetly something you would need to research.
