  1. if you are on the internet, whilst watching you tube at the same time on both computers, then yes. It sometimes happens to our computers at home, when me and dad are both using internet at the same time. The speed though would not be halved, but you would notice a slight difference.

  2. No your speed should remain the same

  3. dont think so

  4. No, the broadband connection is throughout your house/building. So it is the same connection speed. U can have 100 computers and it wont make much of a difference.

  5. no.

Broadband is one of the fastest connections out there. The only way an internet connection would be slowed is if one of those computers were wireless.

Also, depending on what the computers are doing, gaming or just browsing the internet and downloading, etc., the speeds will vary.

    Hope this helps.

  6. unlikely

  7. No!  The packet system of sending information uses a time and space share concept.  If you were standing at a mailbox putting in 1 envelope per second, someone else could put their envelope in as you withdraw your hand to get the next envelope.  At a certain number of people using the same node you will get to a point where slowing will occur.

  8. depends on what modem u use and how old is the computers.

  9. If you are downloading gigabyte files on both computers your speed would be halved more or less.
