Would my turtle hibernate?

well, when fall comes, what will my red ear slider do?

I mean like would it get cold?

or would it just fall asleep until spring comes?

You should know that some animals do that.

If it does hibernate, how will I know it's not dead?

I don't think so because we WOULD have the heater on, but

I just want to be sure.
