Yeah, not a problem.

People often comment that I am "weird" becasue I will happily go out for lunch and sit in a cafe or bar by myself.

On a night out, I would think nothing of arriving at the meeting bar earlier than others to grab a quick bite.

Yes I do and I also enjoy it...sometimes it is nice to eat a meal at a table by yourself  with no one else to bother you...

i would cause sometimes you need alone time. but i dont like to see people eating alone cause i dont know if they r doing it cause they want to or if they are lonely

Do I feel better if I share the meal moment with someone else? Sure; does it deprive me from eating alone? Sure not... I do it frequently, especially, after havig changed my food habits big time: from eating sauces with burgers and fries (yeas, like that, not burgers and fries with sauces) to having lots of fruits and vegetables... and sure, eating "regular food" as well... but, who will feel like getting "a nice green salad with some spiceless chicken" when s/he is starving like h**l? Several people maybe, but they are usually around you, mainly late at night after an evening class.
