She is a good citizen who loves her country and saw problems in her govt and felt civic responsibility to change it. Isnt she the perfect example of the public servant that our founding father's envisioned? (other than the part about being a woman)

  1. No. They would never have considered her because she is a woman.

Other than that her present qualifications to be POTUS are fine - in 1789.

    Unfortunately this is 2008.

By your definition she is a woman a couple of hundred years behind the times.

  2. I suppose, but all this about her not being experienced to be VP --or even possibly President-- will change quickly. McCain is the best canidate to lead this war, therefore he will definitely teach her how to lead this war. He will teach her about Russia, Iran, Iraq, Foreign Oil/Gas, everything that she would need to run a country. So, she will be very experienced/ready to be President. After all, she's got the best man to teach her all she needs to know!

  3. No, they wouldn't give the country to a 44 year old governor with less than two years of experience and zero foreign experience.

  4. Excellent question.

She is probably the ideal candidate based on the framer's intent.  She hasn't gotten into politics to get power and to get famous, she seems to be the type who just wants to get things done.  That's change we can believe in.

Now all you Libs. give me my thumbs down.

  5. Not a chance

  6. You know what? They would, that is a fact. They were a group who lived or died by trusting each other and bonding and risking it all. That is the kind of people who founded this country. People who had principles and morals and common values. It is is different today, or is it?

I gotta go with Sarah Palin. If McCain is good enough and honest enough for Sarah, then, I will vote for him. Obama is a good guy, I guess, but Sarah's way comes from the heart. She wants change in government and so do I.

  7. She is looking at impeachment already, and she hasn't been in politics that long.  How did the republican party pick this turkey without checking her out?

  8. Once they got over the shock that she was even allowed to vote, sure, kinda.  We had founding fathers who disagreed with eachother on things, you know.

  9. First they would have to concede womens right to vote and hold office.  That being granted I sure their position would be in favor of Palin.

  10. Yes, totally.  I saw an interview with her a while back and she repeated several times she was serving the people of Alaska and upholding the Alaska constitution.....I found that refreshing.  She knows whom she serves and where her loyalties are.

  11. Actually I think they are rolling over in their graves -- a female VP candidate and a black Presidential candidate.  If it weren't for the fact that they are already dead, I think they would probably be trying to kill themselves.

I love how some of the respondents are holding the founding fathers in adoration.

The founding fathers were a bunch of rich, slave owners who did not want to pay taxes.  Most of them were womanizers, and drunkards.   So basically nothing has changed.

  12. no, the founding fathers would want her dressed like a bar wench in a low cut blouse and demand that she just bring them more beer...;-)

  13. Our founding father were Conservative, they would have liked her, whats not to like.

  14.   To be truthful, I doubt if they would approve of any of these misfits we have had in the last hundred years or so ,and will turnover in their graves if the likes of Obummer is elected.

  15. Yep,

A true American that thought, h**l...If they wont do it, i will !!!

  16. Yes, they are all cheering her on!

  17. Yes

I have that same feeling when I see this young hard working family

This is the American dream personified.

I just hope people realize the faulty thinking of the Democrats and

their Messiah Barack Obama and Joe *blow* Biden..these are the pits

  18. Well, our Founding Fathers from SOME of the colonies might have found her viable... but MOST would not:

ONLY in New Jersey were women entitled to vote following the ratification of the US Constitution... and then BLOCKED from voting in 1844.

In MANY states, they also couldn't hold property and were NOT legally considered citizens... therefore unable to hold office.

I DO see your point though !!  I think she's a GREAT candidate:  Council Member, Mayor, Governor, VP, possible President... and back home to Alaska to care for her family and write her memoirs.

I think Govenors Carter and Clinton could take notes...

  19. No, but then it's such a different time.  Women are breaking into those jobs that were exclusively men's, while our founding fathers thought women were too delicate and uneducated to have important jobs.  I think Governor Palin is probably good at what she does, but I think she is way too unqualified for the job...especially if she should be called on to take over the Presidency.  I wonder if she realizes how she is being exploited by her party.  I also wonder who decided to name her the nominee for VP, since McCain looked almost embarrassed to be standing with her!  What a strange turn of events!

  20. She is great!

  21. The Founding Fathers would have preferred a person like Mit Romney or others  instead of a political  amateur to follow in their footsteps. Imagine if McCain suffered a life ending health issue soon after being elected. America would be in the biggest predicament of its entire existence. Was McCain thinking of America or John McCain?

  22. She is a women, so are a lot of us.  So is Hillary.

  23. Being that my Great , great , Grandfather was the cousin of Thomas Jefferson, I believe they would say No. She needs some time to get her feet wet.

    About 4 years time.

    McCain 2008

    Palin 2012.

  24. Yes. It's quite surprising. Hopefully she doesn't become corrupted if she comes into power.

  25. She also abused her power to try to get her sisters ex-husband fired.  That is a great civilian.

  26. Absolutely, they're applauding from above!  What a good point you make.

  27. The founding fathers would be fascinated by this election.  Imagine, a black man running for president - a woman for vice-president - amazing
