  1. Antibiotics should only be taken under the direction of a doctor.

It sounds as though you are having a bad run.  Not cool.  The presence of pus - which contains immunological cells - suggests that there is an infection present.

Trust me, though, by 'self-prescribing' antibiotics, you are running the risk of developing resistance to the medication.  Resistance can lead to much more serious complications.  It's the last thing you want.  Also, bear in mind that there are usually side effects to medication and, if you do experience serious effects (even though you've had the medication before doesn't guarantee that you won't develop side effects in the future) then you will end up at the doctors anyway...more embarrassed than before.

Unfortunately, your dad is going to have to do the 'right' thing and take you to the doctor.  It's not your fault that you are having these problems and your dad really should make sure that it all clears up in the best hands - the doctors.  And, unfortunately, it can be an expensive exercise...but, trust me, it's worth it when compared to the very real risks otherwise.

  2. Penicillin will work, but you'll get pimples again. It is acne or furunculosis due to your puberty.

  3. Just adding to emily's answer, if the infection IS the same then it is important that you do go to the doctor as it may now be resistant to penicillin. definately better to get the advice of a GP
