  1. Maybe. Not all of us. Do you think the anti war people only have that view because they don't have to go?

  2. Having served in combat like millions of others, I am inclined to believe that opinions would still vary.  There is a wide spectrum even among troops regarding the reasons for war.  I can only honestly say for myself that I would question our motives in Iraq., and wonder why Bin laden has never been caught.

  3. Not the ones that thought it was a bad idea in the first place...

  4. Absolutely.

For this reason all politicians should be forced spend 1 week on the front-line of any war that they vote for.

Not just a behind the lines handshaking tour as seems to happen these days.

Maybe then, we wouldn't have all the stupid 'sabre-rattling' and 'escalation' statements that are made by governments.

  5. no.  some would. some wouldn't. i for one would not change by opinion by being involved in the fight.

furthermore... we are in a war here at home as well...  it is a fight for our constitution and way of life.  it may very well cost us our country... though some would see that as 'alarmist'... there are many who are aware of the crimes this administration has committed in the name of democracy... and our beloved country.

watch it if you care about listening to the truth.

    otherwise... don't.

  6. Yes, most likely, But warriors most likely have some differ

    views between them as well.

But I would think the all of us agree that war is h**l, regardless

of what the fight is for.

  7. Of course they would. Which is why all politicians who declare war should be on the front line leading the charge.

    It's their war after all.

  8. People are over there fighting and they have a view.

  9. No. Historically speaking, there have been nations all about war where everyone was on the front line. Some citizens agreed with it, others didn't (Israel is a good example today). When it comes to leaders, the same could be said. Look at some military leaders who are also presidents. Some love war, others shy away from it (though a large amount love war). It is all about personal philosophy rather than whether it affects them or not,
