Would plyometric strength training routines help with Rugby Players (position dependant of course)?

  1. Not so much for strength, that comes from heavy lifting. But core strength plyometrics can make you stronger in the tackle and harder to put down, push up work can help injury prevention as well as muscular indurance and squat/jumping work can improve speed and power into contact


  2. plyometrics would help ALL  atheletes, except perhaps "golfers and those in bowling leagues."

    i do plyometrics regularly.
