After alot of research i have decided upon samsung LN46A650. Its input video formats are 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i. If i have a blueray player connected to it using hdmi cable would it play at 1080p or not?

  1. Nope. It's a 720p set. It will accept a 1080i signal but only display at 720p. You need to move up to a 1080p display.

  2. Yes, Samsung’s new LN46A650 and LN46A750 LCD TVs definitely support “Full HD” 1080p video signals input through HDMI.
