  1. Quite simply, no. The pursuit of all scientific knowledge rests upon several assumptions that themselves are not known scientifically. That's why they are called assumptions, or presuppositions. For example, one non-scientific assumption that allows scientific pursuit is the proposition that nature is uniform. In other words, that nature behaves uniformly, not haphazardly or whimsically. Without this assumption, one cannot even begin to do investigation. Nor can this assumption be submitted to scientific analysis.
