  1. YES

It isn't about free. But why can't nannies have the same health insurance as teacher's? Having health care through a job just isn't working. There are too many careers where it isn't available. Being a nanny is a respectable job right? And aren't you likely to get sick? And isn't being healthy and getting flu shots and other preventable care important for this occupation?

If you get very sick at a job and can't work anymore you LOSE your health insurance in the current system... that is RIDICULOUS!

Its not just about "free". Its about fair. Why should someone who works 80 hours a week at 3 jobs because no one wants to hire them full time not get the same health insurance as someone who can get one 40 hour a week job?

Employers purposely don't hire certain people full time to avoid giving them health insurance. What about single mothers who just want a part time job to spend more time raising their own kids? IF the money is enough, why not let them get the same health insurance given to government employees?

  2. sure why not? Canada does it...

    maybe

  3. Not the way Obama wants to.

His is a "single-payer" healthcare plan, which is by far the WORST type of universal healthcare system.

There ARE good types of universal healthcare... unfortunately Mr. Obama doesn't support any of them.

  4. No,because Congress will never allow it to happen because of the Insurance Companies influence on the government. This question has been asked in one way or another for years. It will never come to fruition. I would love to see it happen but alas it won't.
