Would sociology be a good undergraduate major?

To become a speech-language pathologist? If so, why?

If not, what would be an ideal major for this?

  1. I think some schools actually have programs for speech path.

    You're also going to need a masters degree and work experience as an intern or aid.

Well, depending on what school you go to, Sociology is a good major, but not necessarily to become a speech-language pathologist, I do not quite see the parrall here, however, I am not too sure what speech-language pathology is. I for example, major in Criminal Justice and minor in Sociology. This way I can study patterns and sources of crimes from a sociological perspective. U may want to chose subjects that are in cohorts with each other. However, if there are 2 different subjects u are interested in, go ahead and do what u feel is right, life is too short to not do what u want to do, u only live once...make the best of it :)
