  1. Here's a thought.  I live in Snowflake Arizona.  We have one of the largest recycling paper mills in the country.  They produce Newspaper paper, paper bags materials and the paper that they use for cardboard boxes, everything from recycled products.  However our town of Snowflake doesn't recycle.  They employ over a 1000 people here in town to work at the mill yet the town of Snowflake doesn't recycle.  How can that be??  It would be an interesting topic for you.  You can find all your information online.

  5. Electronic waste and the cost to society from the disposal of end-of-life products. You are aware of how fast many electronic products are obsolete by technology and this is the fastest growing waste stream, by volume, in the world. Who has the responsibility to manage the end-of-life products, the consumer or the manufacturer. What is the projected costs to a manufacturer or the public for this waste stream?

What avenues exist that can actually take the waste stream and turn it into a positive in regards to reuse, recycle and resell.

The Europeans have already addressed the issue via the WEEE Directive. Start there look at industry trade sites then research companies that propose to manage end-of-life materials.
