  1. No, it doesn't.  For me, when I stare at a question it is always to ask myself whether I should answer it or not.  Like some questions that are being posted presently.  I stared at them for like 5 minutes and the temptation was so great I almost clicked on the answer button then I remembered I promised myself (and a friend) never...and never to answer controversial questions anymore that would engage me in a verbal altercation.  Err... I mean written altercation.  Although it would have been a challenging one, a very good exercise for my sleepy brain today.

  2. who cares about those stars?

if you as me, it's none-sense.

    basically --

    if there's a question,

    you just answer it.

    then **POOF**

    proceed to the next.

  3. Well I'm staring at your question. Doesn't change your question any single bit does it?

  4. I tried, Allan.  I really tried.

But as I stared at your question,  my eyes simply got magnetized over to that jpeg image of a lion on an elevated, and slanting trunk of a tree, and as I stared at it,  the lion's picture yawned and its tail moved!!

I simply lost focus of your question.  Sorry.

  5. not for me.sometimes, the more i stare at it the more my thoughts would get blurry so i usually rely on my instincts when answering questions like this, but of course, if the topic is on the serious side like socio-political issues then there is much pondering needed to be done.

  6. I wonder how and why... if ever.

But I guess staring at a question allows you to think so you would be able to give more depth to your answers. Am I right? gee...

  7. Staring or starring (putting a star)? Anyways, the answer would be no because the question has to have the substance in the first place and all actions just correspond to the type of the question

  8. I must admit that I have stared at some questions here at YAP.  It's when I'm at a lost on how to answer it.  For one thing, I don't want to disappoint the asker with just a nonsensical string of words and for another, I don't want to go overboard either.  Kahlan's questions (and some of Annabelle's too) always do that to me.   I would probably go back and forth many times before I hit the "submit" (or the cancel) button.

But your questions, ga, I don't have to stare at them.  Not that they are not interesting; they are too goofy that I don't need to give much thought in answering them.  No offense, ga.
