Would stress coat for fish work for a bullfrog?

My dad recently got a bullfrog and isn't sure about the water he's using. He said he's gonna put some stress coat (that we use for our betta fish) in the water. I'm just wondering if that's a good idea.

  1. It shouldn't hurt although I would advise against using other fish medications on frogs-some are pretty nasty.  Stress coat is pretty innocuous though and should be okay.
