I find this question quite funny.  Last time I checked, the troops in Iraq right now can't just leave whenever they want to, they leave when the mission is done and their superiors let them leave.  You have guys here who have wives who are 300 pounds, you have guys here who have wives who look like supermodels, and you have troops who are female or aren't in a relationship right now.  So I seriously doubt it has anything to do with the way their spouses look.

Go to moveon.org and ask that question, you might get more responses that you want to hear.

That is just pathetic and ignorant. It's amazing how much envy the U.S. has from other Nations! I guess having the world's best military has its price.

I'm sure all our soldiers are enjoying being in the heat and having their lives placed in danger versus being at home with their "ugly" families.
