Although Vick would work well in the CFL game, his style of play is perfect for the CFL

Why would anyone want to bring Vick into their community.  I hope that teams would be smart enough to realize that he is not a good fit in the CFL or in Canada!!!!

For what?  He would likely cause thousands of fans to boycott games.  I wouldn't even watch a game on tv if he was on a team, much less buy a ticket.

It would be hard to do so, since he's going to jail. But even if he wasn't sentenced to a prison term, there's a rule put in this season that states no NFL player is allowed to sign for a CFL team while suspended

Once he's served his term he may be able to play in the league.  His style is well suited to the CFL since he's a very mobile QB with a strong arm. His issue is whether he can get the necessry visas to come work in the Canada since he is a convicted criminal.

IF Vick would be available (he is still facing more charges yet) and the NFL would let him go, I think he could play in the CFL. As his running style would fit into the CFL for sure.

Now whether he actually would want to come up here for the little money that is paid, or if he is still able to compete might be a different story.

The CFL has a new, post Ricky Williams policy that prohibits CFL teams from signing any NFL players who are currently under contract or serving a suspension.  When he's finished his suspension he will likely return to the NFL where he will have a much better opportunity to repay his debts to the Falcons.  At $400,000/yr he'd have to play in the CFL for 50 years to pay off $20 million.

No, as a convicted criminal it would be difficult for him to work out residency in Canada and he can't play in the CFL if he is suspended from the NFL. 50 Cent isn't allowed into Canada for being too gangsta, so I don't think Vick is going to be made welcome either. As Kingston says, if he became eligible to play then he would still be owned by Atlanta.

they will take him when he gets out of jail...it would be the best way for him to get into game shape for a couple of years before getting into the NFL.   CFL will take anyone...
