  1. of course they would

  2. of course. Carlos Quentin is having an MVP caliber year.

  3. they would be but i think it would have taken him a liltlle longer to devopl so maybe by the all star reak he would have been good osmehting like a jay bruce

  4. Yes they would be. Bad move on their part. I am a White Sox fan so I am happy about it.

  5. They probably would be much better then around the .500 mark. Specially with the Added Dunn. That team would probably be like 10 games over .500 by now if they had Quentin.

  6. H'ed be hurt out there. The Sox have the best conditioning coach in MLB,. Thats why he's healthy

  7. Quentin was always a huge prospect that was always injured and AZ just lost their patience with him.

Too bad for them they didn't wait one more year.

  8. They'd probably be about the same. I mean they have Justin Upton and Chris Young who are both starters and are both future superstars and they also have a veteran leader in Eric Byrnes in the outfield. Considering the year Quentin had last year, he wouldn't have gotten an opportunity to play at all this year. Lots of players in baseball will struggle if they are getting 1 at bat here and there. They need to be getting consitently between 3 and 4 at bats every game and there is no way he could have gottten that much playing time with the outfield depth that they have. Plus they Just got Adam Dunn!!!

  9. Not really to sure, Quentin never really got a chance to show what he could healthy at the Major League level with the D-backs, sure he had a couple of call ups and even was slotted to be the starting RF last year but he got hurt and lost a lot of his confidence, and for those who say it was a bad move on the D-Backs look at the situation they were in, Quentin was ready to be an every day OF in the majors but their outfield was already filled with Byrnes (this is why the trade looks bad because he got hurt), Young, and Upton (who is also hurt and if you ask me it's serious then the team is letting on which is why the aquired Dunn) so where was he going to get playing time on a regular basis?  Besides if you're a D-Back fan and finding yourself thinking what if, remember this without this trade to the White Sox the D-Backs whould probably not been able to pull off the trade for Dan Haren (Christopher Carter who was aquired in the Sox trade probably for the purpose of the Haren trade as he was traded the next day was one of key players for the deal)

  10. I don't think so. When Quentin was with the D-Backs he sucked big time. I don't think he would have had the same MVP-type year if he would have stayed. The White Sox have more talent so you'd have to figure that their players had an effect on Quentin. Plus, now with Adam Dunn, Arizona might get a little spark back in their offense.
