Question:

Would the Sirius satellite radio FM direct adapter work on a 2005 Dodge SRT 4 (Neon) stock stereo?

Just wondering if someone has already done this with success before try and do it myself.

  1. it all depends if your stock radio has outputs on the rear or not more its a 50/50 shot


  2. Worked on my dad's 99 Plymouth Grand Voyager, so I don't see why not. That is the kind of thing the FM adapter was meant for.

  4. Yes, it will work fine; but if you're making the connection behind the factory radio, you'll need to use antenna adapters: Metra's 40-CR10 and 40-CR20.  (They also package the pair together in the 40-CR30 kit).  http://www.parts-express.com/pe/pshowdet...

    You may be able to find a junction in the antenna line, in the passenger kick panel area or behind the glove box.  I use this connection all the time to install the FM-direct in various Chrysler vehicles because it doesn't require antenna adapters.  You just have to install the FM-Direct in-line on the antenna wire; it doesn't matter where.  But the kick panel connection might be harder to find than the plug at the back of the radio.
