  1. As a big John Wayne fan, I wish that was the case, but no.

  2. No, he would not have been able to get away from the jab.  Lennox Lewis and Ray Mercer punished him with it.  But he would have had a puncher's chance because of the chin of Wladimir.

  3. Yes. Because the slump of c**p fighters that started with lewis, morrison and bowe in the 90's got even worse by the 90's and 2000's. Klitchsko is another step down in quality from poor quality so would probably get nailed back then.

  4. This could go either way for two reasons, both fighters hit hard although morrison probably hit harder, both fighters have suspect chins....scratch that....klischko has a suspect chin, morrison's chin is not good enough to be considered suspect he had a glass jaw, the key difference is style, Morrison is an aggressive fighter with a lot of power who is prone to making mistakes and leaving himself open to shots he should avoid, Klischko is a conservative jabber who uses size and reach to keep opponents away.....To be honest a fight like this could go either way, however wladimir had shown that he can handle power hitters, and he would be smart enough to know better than trading punches with the duke and if he managed to catch tommy with a power right hand then i am almost completely sure that morrison would go down, nevertheless morrison always has a puncher's chance and on some occasions he proved his critics wrong.

  5. I think a focused and well-conditioned Morrison would have an excellent chance against Wladimir Klitschko. Klitschko is not as confident of a fighter as Ray Mercer and Lennox Lewis.  And he is hittable with a suspect chin which could be dangerous against a puncher like Morrison.

The fact is that right now Klitschko reigns over a weak heavyweight crop and many of the heavyweights of the 90s (Holyfield, Tyson, Lewis, Mercer - a prime Mercer, not the 40+ year old version that Klitschko beat, Bowe, Morrison) would be not just competitive but likely to beat Klitschko.

  6. I think a young, prime Tommy Morrison would dominate today's heavyweights, and easily KO the younger of the two Klitschko's.  None of today's heavyweights impress me as serious heavyweight champions and Wlad's chin is a potato chip.  If Morrison fights Klitschko today, 20 years past his prime, and with the stigma of HIV hanging over the ring, Tommy still might KO Wlad.  Vitali would most likely have lasted the longest against a prime Morrison, but even the older Klitschko (today's best heavyweight in my opinion) would have taken to many shots and I think a young Tommy Morrison would have got him as well inside 12 rounds.

  7. the duke would get the h**l beat out of him with that long jab and worn down in the later rounds setting up a devastating knock out that would be a favorite for years on youtube

  8. No, Tommy dosnt stand a chance, and tommy is still fighting he fought Feburary last year and he Fought feburary this year.

  9. Dollbaby, wow you are too cute to insult for asking this question, but wow.   Tommy Morrison was a joke.   He was never near the talent level of Klitcko.  There has not been a heavyweight in the last 15 years that could beat him but Lennox Lewis bringing his A game that could beat him.  He is too strong and too fast.   The only reason Lewis would beat him is because of his glass chin otherwise he would most likely be able to whip his behind also.  Face it,  he is talented.  Tommy Morrison was around for a brief intermission between Tyson and then Hollyfield dominating boxing.   An no, he could never be able to beat either one in their prime either.   And by the way, for those who pretend that the early 90's was a golden age of boxing.   Most of Tyson's competition laid down and never truly fought him, most just collected a pay check.  Second, nobody was good during that period--flat out nobody.   Don King was involved, and God knows who was paid off to lay down for that fool.  Tyson at 36 got his *** whipped by Lewis horribly and pathetically, and then thanked Lewis for doing it.   The other Klitko brother was beating Lewis except for a controversial stoppage.  Vladimir is a better fighter than Vatelli.   With the one exception of Vladimir's suspect chin on occasion.  And only because of Vladimir's chin would he lose to Lewis.  Face it, he is big, fast, agile, athletic, and strong.   With the one exception of having a S****y chin.  He would be great if not for that.   If his chin was better, maybe he could afford to take more chances and please the crowd more by opening up, but to take a chance like that is a chance to lose.  Well I am finished here, but I must say, it is very cool to see a woman who likes the fights, and especially such a pretty one.   That is very cool;)
