  1. yes

  2. Its less if you do not drive it everyday. And the mpg things,a good airfilter, plugs, better gas, everything that cost more, and makes it run better.

  3. Search Classic car insurance in your favorite search engine.

The beginning with "H" is one to check. Yearly policy are going to cheaper then most of your reg companies for 6 months.

You need to make sure your policy is agreed value.

Most true classic car insurance has a limit to when you can drive, where, but will cover based on an "agreed value", which means you guys ( insurance and you " agree on the value before the policy is written or claim happens.

If it's not agreed value (bad= Sated amount policy), then most likely you loose money in the event of a claim, because the value would be determined later no matter what you stated it to be.

  4. Being that I am in the industry. I can answer your question.

First:  Yes, your insurance would be less due to age.  If you place the classic car/truck with an company which only covers classic and collector cars/trucks then your insurance will be even less.  For example on one of my classics I have an agreed value with an appraisal that is less than two years old ( have one done every two years or less for current market value and prof. of the condition of you car/truck) It it is agreed like mine at 15,000   I am paying 250.00 per year for full coverage..  I have Year of Manufacture plates  1953.

Now, If I have it covered by a company like Commerce. they quoted me around 650.00 per year. and they will only cover the car because my regular car insurance is with them.

You should see that most people will be paying  less than 700.00 for a cadillac  between the years of your interested.

Find and join the cadillac club and start asking around who uses which company and how much.

    good luck

  5. For automobile insurance the most efficient way to get a great quote is do a rate comparison on auto policies. Make certain that you choose similar options with the same limits, auto model, location, etc so that all things are a good comparison.

What I most often recommend is an internet comparison quote at http://www.InsureAutoNow.info since they have top name insurers and will give multiple prices on auto insurance polices.

  6. Mint Cadillac full book value and you want comprehensive insurance on it? Or bucket of rust and you are asking to get liability only?

Over here you can fit them with a methane system and they'd consume relatively little.

  7. More expensive if you want replacement value. Not sure about gas milage though. If you get Classic plates, most States have limits on how much you can drive them, such as to shows and such.
