Question:

Would the dodge/chrysler/jeep '02-'06 radio wire harness be the same as the '06 dodge ram one I'm finding?

I was trying to hook up an aftermarket radio to an '06 dodge ram and I connected all the wires and the screen won't light up like the power isn't coming on. but when I push the eject button, you can hear a cd trying to eject. So I know there is power getting to it. I was given a wire harness from a car audio place and they said it would work. so I connected the wires and plugged it in and I get the cd eject to work but nothing else. If its the wrong one would it still be able to plug in to my factory connector? Anyways when I took a second look at the vehicles the wire harness covered, it went up to the '05 dodge ram and it didn't have the '06 ram on there. So I went online and looked for an '06 ram wire harness and found one that the '06 ram was the only vehicle on. Should I buy this one, cuz the other one fit and if it was the wrong one would it still fit?

  1. It's possible that you got the wrong harness. They make a harness for Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep 2005-up. Scosche's model for the 2005-up harness is CR03SR.
