I just got custody of my children, but I can't watch them because I travel alot. So my mother watches them while I travel. My children live in one state and I live in another state. I visit them every two weeks. My ex just filed custody. Could he get custody of my children because of my current situation?

  1. Yes, he can be granted custody if the custodial parent is absent on a regular basis.

  2. i hope he does, what a terrible thing to do,you take the kids away from their father and you cant look after them and dump them on your mother, there is a word that describes people like you but it cant be printed here.

  3. see what the judge says in court if the father is filing for custody..depends on all the facts and information that the judge has in front of him/her.
