Well if strawberries can grow all year inside of a greenhouse, can a tree stay green without any of the leaves falling like it usually would in the autumn (inside of a greenhouse).

  1. The tree's leaves should fall on schedule.  They fall as a result of the hours of sunlight each day.  Plus genetic clues help to 'kill' the leaves.  In a greenhouse with controlled and warm temperatures the leaves will stay on longer but not much.

Adding artificial sunlight and appropriate chemicals can keep the leaves on but will interfere with the production of flowers and seeds.

  2. Yes

  3. Yes, because the tree would still wither a little at the branches, and... I know this'll sound silly, but 'lose grip' of the leaves.
