Would the name Rainbow Luna be weird?

My friend wants to give her baby girl a magical sounding name. suggestions would be nice.

It may be a little weird for someone growing up in my social circle, but not necessarily for someone in your friend's circle of family and friends. There is the possibility of the little girl being teased by other childen, but again it would depend on the social environment. Nowadays, different is trendy.

What about names like Charis, Charisma, Aliah, or Willow? Willow is my niece's name, and everybody who hears it loves it. Rainbow could always be the middle name. Aliah Rainbow sounds pretty!

lol sounds like a very celebrity name. It doesn't have to be weird to be magical. She can try something in another language or by the meaning of the name.

Estrella is Spanish for star. Luna isn't so bad, but a little strange coupled with Rainbow.

Here are a few suggestions.

Adhaza(a-da-za) is arabic/hebrew for Princess.

Nerissa is Greek for Sea Sprite.

Juno is mythical greek. She was the wife of Zeus and was know to be and stunningly beautiful woman.

Aednat(ay-nit) is Irish for little fire.

Lily is blossoming flower.

She can also try fairy names like:

Shaylee which means fairy princess of the field

Donella means dark haired elfin girl

Laila means an angel appointed to guard the spirits at their birth

Faye actually means fairy.
