Question:

Would the next generation be better off as Englishmen rather than being British?

Now that the DUP have stabbed the people of the union in the back for their own selfish interest, my lifelong (passive but moral) support for the protection of the unionists right to determine their own future at any price is at an end.

Scotland wants to go its own way, Northern Ireland offer the Union no loyalty...

So I don't see any reason to leave these issues for my children to worry about - end the union and they can concentrate on making England a better place with out compromising to the interests of other ungratetful states.

Not sure about wales... but anyhow...

Ditch the Union? Yes or No?

  1. I see no issues connected with this , other than in name...its not something I care at all about, and I know I am not the only one, but each to their own.  How do you think the country would be different with out the United Kingdom? I personally feel that it is a title only...and that we as a world need to be thinking more globally...and a lot less about country names/boundaries...thats the only way forward as a race

  2. Yes!Vote for English Independence!!

  3. i think you are generalising with the Scottish bit there. i see no overwhelming proof most Scot's want out of the union. are there any English left down there? can't say i see many when i go down.

  4. AS AN ENGLISHMAN WITH NO IDENTITY ON MY OWN LAND  I AM LEFT WITH NO CHOICE ;SADLY;

    WE WILL BE STRONGER WITHOUT THE UNION

    BUT, WE WILL NEED DAM STRONG BORDER CONTROLS

    COS WHEN THEY CHANGE THERE MINDS THEY,LL

    WANT TO COME RUNNING BACK TO MUMMY

  5. We have already lost being British we are now european.

    Thanks to are Government.

  6. Were not even English anymore never mind British, what with all the mixed races here we must be classed as Multiwhatever.

  7. No. Sorry but thats a bad idea. How would scrapping the union benefit us? I think that would speed our decline if anything else. The last vestiges of something that was great and you want to throw it away. Would it not be better to strengthen the union and build from there?
