Would the temperature of cold water change when it goes in the body?

im wondering because all these articles keep saying dont drink cold water after eating because it will solidify the fats from the food you ate.

  1. It will slowly warm up as your body expends energy to warm it up so it can be used in the body, that's why people say it's better to drink warm water than cold. It's because it's closer to the core body temperature and is easy to break it down so it can be used. Also why it's important not to eat snow in a hypothermic condition.


  2. the temp of the water would slowly rise but your body temp will also lower slowly and not by much at all.

  4. i cant find the article but on howstuffworks.com i read an article which said that when you drink really cold water the body needs to cool it down. the heat from your body is used to cool it down, in this process you lose a very small fraction of a calorie. if your body did not go through this process your urine would be frigid cold.
