Would the value of musical instrument go up or down with age?

It usually depends if it has been used. If it has been used, then obviously it'll go down. But if it was a quality musical instrument made with quality material, then it'll most likely go up. You probably won't have any luck finding a musical instrument enthusiast though, unless it's a guitar.

would depend on the condition of the piece or pieces in question assuming they were properly cared for and not abused damaged or dented in anyway i can only see the value increasing hope this helps
