  1. how r we ment to know

  2. Yes the weather will be nice. =D

In places such as spain and what not, it's close to the equator and no matter what the weather is usually always warm.

    Enjoy your cruise!

  3. I went in the beginning of Ocotber and it was pretty cold. like sweatshirt season.

  4. I went to Italy late in the year a few years back. It varied from very hot some days to rainy others, but when it rained it was still warm.

I was there for a week and had maybe 2 rainy days. This was Rome it probably veries depending on where you are because Italy is fairly tall and thin as a country.

  5. ya i think so

  6. depends where you go in Italy.  If you look on a map of the world and follow the lateral line to the U.S. you'll be able to better gauge and understand the weather where u are going in Italy.

  7. yeah it would be bareable so dont worry.

  8. In 2007 during the last week of September, I visited Florence and Milan.

The weather was warm (between 70 - 80 degrees), and it cooled off each day around 6:00pm.

Your little ones should be okay in this type of weather.

    Good luck.

  9. I live in Seattle, and who thought we would have snow in June!  So the answer is that, the weather in Italy in October is probably as unpredictable as the weather around the rest of the world.  My suggestion is that you take a variety of clothing for the kids, and dress in case of either good or lousy weather.  I realize that means extra, or fewer pieces of clothing, but short of being a weather specialist, it is going to be difficult to really know what the weather will be like until you get there.

Historically, the weather in Italy is cooler in October than August, but not as cold as February.  I would say it is more "Fall" like, rather than summery.

Hope this helps.  I know it is difficult with the way things are going to really know these things, but I am envious of your trip.  It is a beautiful country, and you should have a terrific time.

The weather in the South Pacific or the Caribbean is quite nice at that time of year, as well as Australia and New Zealand.  Have fun where ever you go.

  10. Italy in October is very sunny and warm.  It is not cold like the first poster claims.
