Would the world be 75% water if all the ocean life was taken out and the water level decreased?

The water level would decrease due to displacement of the animals and plant life under the sea, so would the earth still be 3/4 water if all the animals and plant life were removed and the water levels dropped?

  1. I think you over estimated the ratio of water to life.

    There would be almost no difference.

    Take a goldfish out of a 50 gallon tank and compare.


  2. The world is only about 0.01% water.  Most of it residing on the earth's crust.

  3. first of all, it's not 3/4, it's 2/3, and i think there just talking about the surface area, not what's in the water and stuff like that
