Would the world be a better place if diseases didn't exist? ?

Why do diseases exist and why do they do so much damage?

Yea it would be better, but then again we still have racism, natural disasters, manmade disasters like global warming, so diseases are only part of the problem -.-

Do you mean physical diseases like cancer, or the one where people hate on other people just because they are Muslim and it's post-9/11? I think without both the world will be a good place, yes.

I think the answer to overpopulation should be more responsible breeding, not more diseases.

...just another unique lifestyle we are finally starting to learn and live together with...

...are bodies are not fully developed to accommodate a destructive virus...

If we didn't have disease, we'd be overpopulated.  Even when people die from "old age", it's usually heart disease or respiratory disease.  It would be nice, though, if we lived in a perfect world where everyone lived to be 95 years old, healthy as can be, and then just died in their sleep.  I hate it that children die, and young mothers and fathers.  But it's just the way it is.  We have other critters here on earth, like bacteria and viruses that cause disease, and our own immune systems can go wrong and cause disease.  I do not think there is a reason or purpose behind it.  It just happens.

god yea, and if ice cream and potato chips were really good for you. i think it would be a better world if we could fly instead of walking. do you have a disease. i do and it sucks.

did you ever notice when they find a cure for one, another one pops up?

it's called the thinning process. same as wars. can you imagine what the population of the world would be if there were no disease, accidents, wars, tornados or anything? there'd be so many people we'd all be starving.
