Would the world be a better place without Republicans?

We don't have to guess.  We can just look at other coutries that are almost totally absent of republicans.  The Soviet Union,  Russia today, China, North Korea.  In all these places everyone has a job, everyone has free health care, everyone has a house, no one is allowed to own weapons, etc...

I don't mention other countries like France, and such, because you did not ask about reduced effect of a republican type party, but rather a better place "without" (which I presume means exactly that "without").

By the way, I am a conservative when it comes to fiscal spending, but I would not want to live in a place without democrats. That too would be horrible and extreme.

No, but we'd be better off without idiots that do a lot of talking about things they know nothing about.
