Thank-You!

  1. neither nor

at 5'9" you are on the tall side for either

and at 260lb both suspensions will be bottomed out most of the time

any 250 will do even tho you might need some suspension work done - even for non compettitieve trail riding you will feel the difference and it will be worth the money

as for Honda or Yamaha - both good choices - if you plan to buy new go to the dealer you like better, if you want to buy used, see what the market offers,

  2. yamaha

  3. it all depends on what you like best but they would both be good

  4. i agree with the person above...i would go with the crf 250 i know you do not plan on racing but it has a racing suspension which would be better for you're weight...i have a rc-51, cbr 600, and a crf 450 and they have never let me down...honda hands down

  5. For your size the CRF250X or WR250F would be a better choice but of course they are twice the price of the 230's. If you go with the 230 either would be fine, they are about even. I don't like the fact that the CRFdoes not have a kick starter, not sure if the TT-R does or not. If it does I'd buy the Yamaha.
