Would there be any extra surcharge of tax when bringing in extra weight on luggage?

Note, that im refering to flight luggage,and im using euro.

whats the price for every 1KG?

  1. some airlines allow you to bring 2 checked-in luggage, each luggage not to exceed 50 pounds each for a total of 100 pounds (or roughly 45 kilos).

    other airlines allow you to bring only 20-30 kilos of baggage.

    all airlines allow you to bring a hand-carry luggage of 7kilos.

    all airlines will charge excess baggage fee if you exceed their baggage limit.

    so it is better to check with your airline. your baggage limit is also printed on your ticket.

    excess baggage fee is roughly US$15 per kilo (est. 10Euro) ...

  2. Yes there would, usually a percentage (about 1% - 2%) of the full fare per extra kg of weight, per flight. Hope this helps. =)
