Question:

Would there be peace between Indians and Australians if...?

They played some matches together to raise funds for the people devastated by the flooding in Bihar?

The proceeds of the ODI series could be donated to the relief effort. Perhaps in a spirit of goodwill, the Australians could visit Bihar to help out and visit the people there. A visit from a group of top international cricketers could be a wonderful morale boost.

Would this help to bring about peace between the Indians and Australians?

Or am I being too naive?

  1. You are being too naive !

  2. You can't check but imma' let yoooh try (8)

    -x-

  3. I don't think any of the cricketers have any problems with the Aussies...I mean if you would have seen the IPL series..the Aussies and the Indians jelled quite well...Haydos and Dhoni,Brett Lee and Sreesanth...are few of the examples...

I guess there would be peace between Indians and Australians if Harbhajan is kicked out as he is the only one who has probs with the Aussies..Otherwise I guess they are on quite good terms with each other.:)

  4. It has to be worth a try.

  5. It's a very nice idea. It may improve the relationship between the two countries for a little while and act as a short term solution to the problem.

However I think a very small amount of people don't actually want to change there opinion about the nation, no matter what the Australian players do.

I'd love it if I was proven wrong though :)

  6. might sort out some of the nonsense questions and answers put on here.

  7. Its a good thought, but although the players get on well together, people in this section don't want to agree. Just look at some of the more recent postings here today, they are a disgrace to this section. Where is YA? Busy deleting questions for 'chatting' and ignoring blatant racism, misrepresentation and impersonation!

  8. There is no real lasting problem between cricketers of either country, and except a very negligible section, the crowd enjoys cricket between the two countries.

The problem is with some users in this section, who have nothing to do with cricket. If they stick to cricket, it is to back their respective countries in not so constructive way. And some users (May two or three with multiple accounts) from both Aus & Ind are guilty here. If some people are ignorant, they could be led to what is reality. Some assume ignorance and nothing can be done to help them out of that mental state.

  9. I think no one have any problem. Bhajji is also a part of team. He have no problem. We people does not understand his thinking. He get angry quikly & does not have a way to how to tackle it. It is a part of his life.

He sometimes behaves with everyone like that with Aussies.

Belive me he is a nice person.

  10. A very good idea. Anything to improve the fractious relations between the two would be a positive thing, especially if it's also raising money and awareness about a humanitarian issue at the same time.

But I agree with Kinney. Unfortunately there are always going to be some people who don't want to find any kind of middle ground. Some people get their jollys out of negative situations and hating their fellow man and regrettably there isn't really anything that can be done to persuade them to change their minds. We can dream though.

  11. Both countries are at peace and most people get along very well. Do not go by the racist elements (from both nations) on YA.

If you notice, it is probably few users from each side with a 100 accounts each. And this war is not going to end any time soon

  12. Fine idea. I mean, the Bihar floods were terrible. I think at a time like this, people should band together and show support for India and the flood-afflicted people, and not squabble over the words of Bhajji and Symmo. Humanitarian aid is already pouring in from all round the world, and if cricketers can provide some small comfort by giving some entertainment and money to the people of Bihar, they shouldn't not hesitate. Surely a series dedicated to such a charitable cause would be of more use than most of the games planned in the calendar.

  13. Azzes work only for money. They will kiss any Indian billionaire's azz for bags of green.

  14. thats a great idea.. i think! :)

i mean most of the questions in this section is usually full of banter from each side!

it would be a great idea to have this charity match! :)

MAYBE, peace won't come about but atleast they would get along for a little time! :)

    STARRED :D
