  1. if there was, who would come to rescue you. how would eat and go to the bathroom?  maybe the captain is there,.  all the way from 1912


  2. No...she is full of water.

    Now if your thinking for a matter of hours after initially going down...possibly. Eventually everything let go though as she was a riveted hull, not welded. Certainly not drum tight...a person would have been in the room being barraged by spray from pinholes and rivet holes. It would have been terrifying.

    She was designed with a series of mechanical safety/waterproof doors that were actually never closed due to either miscommunication or oversight in a state of panic.
