  1. they are fine. as long is breeches are proper riding pants, and they aren't really dirty, the judges don't care how much you pay for them. Just try to keep them clean at lessons.

  2. The pants will be fine as long as you keep them clean.

The boots, on the other hand, are too expensive. If you aren't old enough to get a job, then I assume you are young and that you are still growing. I would buy a cheaper pair of tall boots, seeing as you will be growing out of them in a few years and will need to get new ones.

  3. Hmmm... they certainly have a nice selection of quality goods, but I don't think this website offers any "bargains".

I would suggest searching some of the websites that offer higher quality items at sale or closeout prices.  Try http://www.horse-rider-etc.com/merchant2... or here http://www.thegiftedhorse.com/ladies-kne... or here http://www.breechesusa.com/index.php?mai... for starters.  Spend at least 2-3 days shopping and don't forget about ebay and other used/consigment resources.  This shop does not keep their inventory online, but they literally have HUNDREDS of pairs of high quality, gently used breeches and boots http://www.con-tack.com/EnglishApparel.h... -- just email them with the colors/sizes/price range you are willing to spend and they will email you what is available.

Always buy the highest quality you can afford, because with riding apparel and tack you really get what you pay for.  The more expensive stuff will fit better and last longer.  You could also buy one pair of inexpensive "schoolers" (which would run you $20 - $30) and a more expensive pair of show breeches on sale.  Try to buy everything from the same online vendor or a local tack shop to save on gas and shipping.

    Good luck and happy shopping!

  4. First choice of riding breeches was fine. However, I do not like the boots you picked out. God forbid if the zipper where to split on you in the show arena. I highly suggest regular field boots of a good quality leather. They'll last you for years if you take care of them properly. Hope I helped.

  5. both would be good i would say the 1st one. also, u dont need 2 have tall boots until they dont make ur size in small ones anymore or ur age group all has them :) they r just so expensive and they aren't necassary. somtimes mine actually hurt my legs so by the end of a horse show im walking funny :):):)

  6. If you are riding once a week just a pair of buff colored breeches should be fine. Once you get to the point of showing THEN you can get a pair of breeches just for showing - they don't have to be expensive, just clean.

Are you going to be showing a lot? If not I would go with paddock boots and half chaps. You can get both for about $60 and have the boots last a few years. And I would go with a cheaper brand if you do plan on getting tall boots. I have a full time job that pays well and I can't even afford those!

  7. any are fine but i would find some other pants to wear when not showing. i also find that if you bye the cheapest you may be able to get two pares.

  8. any of these are fine. good luck.

  9. Any of the breeches are fine, but over here we usually have to have white or cream ones for showing or show jumping! As for the boots not a hope in h**l would I pay that! They will get wrecked if you are going to be using them alot and you could grow out of them. Chaps and half boots are nicer to ride in anyway!Unless you are going to be taking this showing very serious and in very  big comps. I would go for cheaper ones ..The judges dont mind about price or anything as long as the are clean!

  10. I think it all looks fine, the boots are gorgeous, but gee they are so expensive, if you cant get a job due to your age, why not help at the stables and see how that goes, they may just give you a few dollars to help you once they see how serious you are.

    good luck

  11. as long as the breeches are tan, navy, black, or beige i THINK that they are okay. you might want to double check that though

  12. any would be fine, all you need is a comfy pair of riding pants or you can even wear jeans. same goes for boots, they dont nessesarily have to be tall boots but if you want them, it doesnt really matter as long as they are comfy

    happy riding! :)

  13. second one

  14. Hi there!

You bet they are.  I assume you will be wearing a nice dark jacket as well.  Your boots and pants are professional and they look comfy too.  The outfit looks like a winner to me!!  Best of luck!
