  1. This really depends on what kind of music you listen to and how you like it to sound...10's are really only for hittng high notes...12's hit highs & mids...15's can hit mid's but mainly lows....I listen to alot of rap so i like 15's for that deep low bass..but the best size to get whether you like all types of music would be 12's simply because they can hit different ranges very well..i had 2 12inch Kicker L7 and was blown away with what they can do...whatever you go with make sure its a good brand..Kicker,Memphis,JL,RE,.etc..and the right amp to power them.

  2. The 10's that amp would be alright.  Your question of would these subs and amp be a good setup....that all depends on the person and what kind of sound you would like to have.  For me, those subs are not loud enough...but thats just me.  Some people they are great.  I prefer the subs like a FI BTL 12" Loaded subwoofer, which eats up my Autotek MM 3000.1 amplifier.  I've owned a RE Audio 12" x*x 2006 model, and I've owned quite a few different subs that hit LOUD and hard....12w7, Phoenix Gold Ti 12" D elite etc.

  3. Just a comment.  The ZX400.1 provides 400W RMS at a 2 ohm load.  The final impedance of the DCVR104 is 4 ohm.  Keep in mind the RMS power of that amp is halved at a 4 ohm load.
