I'm also wondering how serious these surgeries are....ladies if you've had this done or know someone who has can you let me know? I thought my Dr was being excessive with this timeframe.

  1. This is a surgical treatment for prolapsed r****m and uterus. One week in hospital and six weeks for recovery are needed. But results are very good.

  2. I had the prolapsed uterus and a total hysterectomy.  I've since had another surgery, well, many more.  But I think you are going to need more than 7 weeks to totally recover.  You are going to need to learn how to lift and bend and reach.  They are going to be cutting through muscles and such.  You are going to need rehab.  You are in my thoughts and prayers!!!  Use your pain meds!!  Don't be a hero!!  Good luck!!!
