Would these two blues look good together in my new room?

Their Dulux colours 'Mineral Mist' and 'Velvet touch 2'

If those pages dont work, its a kinda turquoisey blue colour and a grey-blue. I'd advise checking the pages thoughm cuz i'm not very good at discribing colours..

If you saw my other question a while ago, it'll have 3 posters up (birth of a star, happy bunny, and periodic table) and a cork board with photos etc. on, and a spongebob square pants calender :)

I think they look great together if you combine them you will have a brighter blue. Remember you want it to match your house.

I think that you should choose another soft color instead of two blues. go to lowes and show them the blue you choose and they can give you a color wheel of colors that look good together. how about a soft yellow? sounds like that would match your decorations. but the blue is pretty, you just need contrast

Yes, but...

(Isn't there always a "but"? LOL!)

BIM that the Velvet Touch 2 is a green-based intense blue (heading toward teal), while the Mineral Mist 2 is a warmer and lighter (more pastel) blue. Depending on other elements in your room such as curtains, bed linens, rugs, closet and hallway doors, you can lead the overall tone of your room to the green side of the spectrum, or the cool white side of the spectrum. Either will work wonderfully w/ both colors; what you choose will depend on whether you want the teal or the white to "pop."

Also, because the Velvet Touch 2 color is significantly more intense, you'll probably want to use less of it in the room so as to not have an eye-rattling effect.

Typically this means you'll only want ONE accent wall in the Velvet Touch 2 color with the other three walls painted in the Mineral Mist.

Or, if you have (or plan on putting up) a chair rail, use the Velvet Touch 2 below the chair rail and the Mineral Mist above the chair rail. Or, you cold paint all four walls in the Mineral Mist and paint the top 10" of the walls, where it hits the ceiling, in the Velvet Touch 2.

Or (tired of the suggestions yet...?) you could paint the walls in the Mineral Mist and put color blocks (or color circles, "bubbles," triangles, etc.) of the Velvet Touch 2 all over one or more of the walls.
