I would like to hoe they might be more patriotic....patriotic enough to protest the war, NOT THE TROOPS, and get out of Iraq

Patriotism nowadays is "cool"

Why do think there is no draft . If there was there would be major opposition to these wars .

If there was a draft in this war definitely not. Not that this and Vietnam ( if you were in vietnam or not ) have a lot of similarities, but the biggest one is a lot of people against both. If there was a draft for this war people would have definitely said somethings that were unpatriotic.

I believe the more proper question is "Would these young Americans be so supportive of the war and occupation if there was a draft like there was in my day?"  Your question--"would they be so patriotic"--implies that support of a war is patriotic whereas opposition is unpatriotic.  That wasn't true back in your (and my) day, and it's not now.
