Would they charge me for using abroad?

i am going away next week for 5 days and want to pay for my hotel on my credit card (capital one) when i get there its 500 euros.

I know because it is in euros it will use the exchange rate for that day but will the bank charge me for using it abroad?

  2. Yes there's a surcharge for using it abroad.

  3. also remember to call the credit company before you leave to tell you will

    be overseas and there will be small exchange rates when you get the bill

    later on

    but using credit card is one of the better ways to travel as well

  4. Be sure to let them know when and where you are going, so they don't reject the charges.
